Greater Lansing Home Inspectors

Why get a home Inspection?  A home inspection is one of the most important things you can do when buying a new home.  It is an inexpensive way to discover any problems with the home you want to purchase and that is why we recommend always getting a home inspection.

When you are under contract typically, we recommend you call to interview inspectors to pick the right one for you.  When scheduling the inspection, make sure to specify that you are having a home, pest, and radon inspection.  Some inspectors have a different vendor come for those services at the same time as their inspections and they will need to coordinate with them.

Each inspector has a different charge, please make sure to ask how to make payment.  You pay at the time of inspection and not all inspectors take charge, and each vendor might need to be paid, it would be helpful to have more than one check.

At the time of inspection, you, the inspector and your agent should be there, if you are unable to make it to the inspection, we are happy to be there with and take notes for you.  You will get a written report from each inspector when they are complete.

Inspection times are typically at 9:00am, 12:00pm and 3:00pm Monday - Friday.  Inspectors are very busy and are booking far out, the sooner you can schedule your inspection the better.  Our priority is to get the inspections complete and respond with the home inspections results within the given time frame.

Below are the contacts to help identify an inspector.  You can certainly use whomever you would like, these inspectors have been used by our agents and have a good experience with.  I have had the best experience with Jeff/Jason at Accurate Inspections or Jeff Prior with First Priority.
